Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 potatoes, cubed and cooked
- 2 cups chick peas, cooked and drained
- 2 or 3 tbsp. sugar
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3 tbsp. chaat masala, ground
- hot green pepper, chopped fine (to taste)
- 3 cups plain 3.5% yoghurt
- milk (optional)
- 6 tbsp. fresh mint or fresh coriander, chopped
Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients except milk.
2. Add milk only if salad is too thick.
3. Taste for salt, sugar, and spiciness, and adjust where desired.
4. Serve chilled. |
